Something New and Some Things to Look Forward to

Oh my, this blog has been untouched for two months! I just got really busy with my freelance gigs and some other stuff, that's why. Anyway, I opened a shop on Etsy. Yay! I sell my premade logo designs there. So if you're in need of a new logo for your business or want to rebrand, but you're on a budget, then please have a look at doodledhearts. I only sell OOAK or One Of A Kind logos, meaning, each will never be resold again after it's been sold on my shop. I also do custom logos by request.

On another note, we will be spending a month on Singapore this August. Another yay! :D My uncle decided to celebrate his 60th birthday there with his family, me, my mom and some of our relatives. We'll stay separately at our two uncles' houses who resides there. Although they will only be spending a few days in Singapore, but me and my mom will be staying for one month. Once again, our airfares are free! It will be my cousin's treat, I think. Just so you know, it's always our uncle(who lives there) who buys us plane tickets, otherwise we wouldn't be able to travel there. So I consider it as a big blessing that we get to travel there for free. Though, I'm planning to save up 'cos I want to surprise my mom for a day trip to Malaysia.  FYI, you can go there from Singapore just by bus. Cool, eh? I'm not really good in saving though, so I'm crossing my fingers! Excited to go back there and see how it looks like now after we went there last 2009.

Goodbyes Are Not For Me

It's been a week since my sister and nephew left to live permanently in Boston. Miles and miles away from us. I've been missing them so bad that I get really excited whenever I see a status update/message from them on Facebook. But it's nothing compared to them being here. I miss my 4-year old nephew, Nathan. He's the most naughty and hyper kid I've ever known. I recall my sister's message to us just the other day, that he was being a bully on the playground the other day, pushing other kids and shouting "go away!" at them. But he's one sweet boy, too. Specially if you have been treating him nice. I remember he would always call me to watch his favorite cartoons with him. Or when he wanted me to cook or buy food for him. Most of the time, I looked after him and took care of him that's why I've been missing him this a lot. Even though he always made my blood boil and gave me headaches I still love that little guy to bits. In fact, almost everybody in the neighborhood adores Nathan that it was also hard for them to see him go. I don't know if I'll ever be used to Nathan not being here because he brings a totally different feeling inside the house. It almost feels empty now minus him.

Part of me is sad that we won't be all together for too long, but part of me is also happy because I know it's what's best for them.

Last Months

Why, hello there! It's a shame that I have almost abandoned this blog, to think that I just made this a month ago! Well, I've been busy with other things and my mind's been occupied with family matters lately hence the hiatus. And to make up for the lack of posts, I'll just show you some pictures with captions to sum up what I did  the past months (and so that you'll also have an idea of how boring my life is).

Completed my Christmas gift list at the very last minute.

Used my free Zalora coupon from my Globe Tattoo prepaid kit purchase.

Been cooking a lot and trying recipes, such as this KFC style gravy from Panlasang Pinoy. It was a success.

SM Mall of Asia with the fambam.

New Year's Eve

QC Circle on a new year.

I made some Mango Float the other week.

I have more photos I want to show but some are still in my phone (so lazy to transfer!) and some are just plain crap.
